Our range of frost protection wind machines
Powerful and self-contained, AgroFrost frost protection wind machines even out the cold air layer over several hectares thanks to intensive air mixing of 109,000 m³/min. Reliable, connected and configurable, they ensure continuous protection even during the most severe events.
Our FrostBuster range
The ultimate mobile solution, the FrostBuster uses the tractor's power take-off to diffuse controlled hot air between the rows. No permanent infrastructure, no specific permit: it protects 4 to 7 hectares in a single night of operation, with the lowest per-hectare cost on the market.
AgroFrost wet-bulb temperature alarm
The right trigger, at the right time: the key to effective protection.
The effectiveness of a frost protection system relies as much on the precision of the trigger as on the power of the equipment. Too often, damage occurs not from a lack of protection, but because the equipment was activated too late. AgroFrost designed its frost alarm to solve precisely this problem.
Based on the measurement of the wet-bulb temperature — the only one truly meaningful for crops, unlike the dry-bulb temperature — the AgroFrost alarm automatically sends SMS alerts to up to three recipients as soon as the critical threshold approaches. The wet- and dry-bulb temperature, humidity, dew point, battery voltage and alarm threshold data can also be consulted remotely by simple text message.
Powered by a 12 or 24 V battery, fitted with a built-in SIM card and supplied with its adjustable stainless-steel support, it is placed at the coldest point of the field, at bud height, for a measurement accuracy of ±0.1 °C.
